Hi, I am De'Amber Harris (CEO) and Founder of Fitness And Nutrition Services of Atlanta LLC, I would like to personally thank each and everyone of my clients and individuals that has trusted me with their health. I really believe that god has a purpose for me on this earth and that is why he has blessed me with the gift of teaching, training and educating individuals on how to eat healthy and lose weight the healthy way. I don't believe in losing weight too quick and fast with liquid diets or other regimens that cause starvation to the body. A healthy weight loss is 2-3 pounds per week and this includes eating all the food groups such as your proteins, carbohydrates, dairy, fruits and vegetables, also the body needs vitamins and Irons for energy especially if you are working out, doing cardio and lifting weights. Knowing your BMI- Body Mass Index is very important. Getting plenty rest and sleep is essential to the body and may help with stress. Drinking 8-10 glasses or more of water per day is a must, your organs need water to properly function like it should. Eating 5-6 meals per day is very important when you are trying to lose weight, this includes a nutritional breakfast, lunch and dinner along with 2-3 snacks in between, this way you will not feel hungry because you are eating every 2-3 hours and will not have a need to indulge in excessive overeating. Your foods should also be in moderations. You should also not eat after 7:00pm to prevent eating late and lying down to go to sleep, that way you will not have a meal sitting in your stomach waiting to turn into FAT! If you do get hungry snack on a handful of peanuts, a mini bag of popcorn, fruit or raw veggies. I also believe in cleansing the body with all 100% natural herbal products, that's why I have my clients to regularly clense and release the mucous and toxins out of the body before they start my Work-Out Fitness Training Sessions. Exercise is the key to achieving optimal health and remaining fit. Being fit involves the use of different components of the body which include the muscles, lungs, cardiovascular and skeletal system among others.
Exercise aids fitness in several ways. For example, vigorous physical activity causes the heart muscles to work harder. This leads to increased blood flow throughout the body that helps circulate oxygen to the tissues and also eliminates the cellular waste products from the body.
Regular and age appropriate exercise helps prevent obesity. It also helps to increase the HDL (High-Density Lipoprotein) levels in the body. HDL are types of good cholesterol that actually benefit the body by regulating the sugar levels and converting the stored fat into sugars thereby producing energy.
Most people exercise with the main aim of achieving a well toned body, increasing muscle mass and to look and feel healthy. It also helps over time to improve balance, strength and increase endurance as well.
Moderate exercise for just 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week will go a long way in achieving optimal fitness. There are a variety of simple exercises that can be done without any special equipment or training. These include taking a brisk walk, taking the stairs where ever possible, going for a short jog everyday or even jumping rope.
There are always a variety of classes available at gyms and even home gym equipment that can be bought for people who are committed to keeping themselves fit on a regular basis. A daily routine that involves free weight training and a short jog around the park is enough to keep the body systems functioning well and healthy.
